For any BODY with physical limitations
Receive expert guidance from AUT physio students and supervisors
Be welcomed into a supportive community environment
Come along and practice some ancient yoga techniques that enhance the connection between your mind and body. You will learn how to develop small yet meaningful changes in your posture, strength, breath awareness, and resilience.
I teach these classes at AUT Integrated Heath where you will receive 1:1 assistance and support from AUT physio students and supervisors. Talk about a luxury yoga class!
You’ll get to practice YOUR version of adaptive yoga at your own pace without worrying about competing against others or feeling judged.
These classes are designed to be practiced mostly seated with some standing positions offered. Adapted for wheelchairs and beginner friendly.
This is an INCLUSIVE and WELCOMING class for every BODY.
Whether you:
have a disability
have reduced mobility
are injured
are recovering from ill health
are trying to manage a physical or mental illness
are moving into your wisdom years
experience any barrier or challenge that prevents you from attending a regular yoga class

This is a signature accessible, adaptive Yoga for ALL class - welcoming, inclusive, non-judgmental and catering for your UNIQUE body.
Suitable for beginners and experienced - Jen caters to your level.
Great for those moving into their wisdom years! but any age welcome
“if you can breathe, you can do yoga” - True Story!
In this class Jen adjusts the poses to fit the body - not the body to fit the poses.
We start in a chair and then you choose how much you want to use it as we move through yoga with variations on offer.
With a focus on breath awareness, Jen guides you through gentle movement, balancing, stretching, opening & strengthening - all helping to improve co-ordination, circulation, joint health…..& much much more!

We always finish with a deeply rejuvenating guided relaxation for calm, peace & restoration - snoring allowed!
This class has been assessed and approved for ACC’s Strength and Balance - Live Longer for Stronger Govt Programme.
ALL bodies, age, ability, size, injury, gender, if recovering from surgery, arthritic, in a wheelchair or anything else is more than welcome and will be catered for.
